Emelie Karlsson, DVM

Veterinarian

Hello, I’m Dr. Karlsson!

I was born and raised in a very small town in Sweden and grew up with dogs, cats, goats, and horses. I was always fascinated with American culture so I moved to the U.S. after high school for my undergraduate degree and then returned to Europe for veterinary school a few years later. I graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine, Budapest with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2017. After graduation, I completed the Educational Commission for Foreign Graduates (ECFVG) and received my American veterinary license in 2019. I love all animals but have a special place in my heart for cats and dogs. I have a 9-year-old Ragdoll cat named Cocos who you might have seen roaming around the clinic or napping on the bookshelves. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine, but my special interests are preventative and internal medicine.

I feel very fortunate to be part of the Vetsavers team and I am so excited to meet you and your pet. I look forward to taking care of your pets with compassion, dedication, and a whole lot of love.
